Most charities do not pay Corporation Tax on the money they get from donations or grants, as long as that money is spent on their charitable mission. Yes. From September 30, 2026, the rules are changing to make things easier for small charities. You only need a professional Independent Examination if your yearly income is over £40,000 (it used to be £25,000). Also, you only need a full Audit if your income is over £1.5 million. We stay updated on these changes so you don’t spend money on reports you don’t actually need.
